  • Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. In order to determine if the subwoofer is the cause try this:
a). turn the subwoofer's volume all the way down and remove the sub-cable from the back of the subwoofer.
b). bring your CD or DVD player to the sub's location and connect the right and left line level outputs of the CD/DVD player to the corresponding right and left line level inputs on the sub.
c). then begin playing a CD and slowly turn the volume up on the subwoofer. There should be plenty of bass at a low volume setting.

Ken's suggestion is a good one. Apparently the LFE blows easily.
The L/R is the way to keep the sub going or speaker in/outs.
  • Thanks for the info. I followed your instructions and have no audio. I also took it and hooked it to my son-in-laws system. Nothing. It's just over a year old. Purchased it in June last year. Any help Polk could give would be appreciated.
