    Well, actually destruction is a problem when it's considered abuse. Don't know of any warranty that covers abuse. Polk has been very generous over the years though in that regard but it's not something I'd count on.

    No I bought the best buy warranty that covers accidental damage which includes liquids and physical damage aka dropping things down stairs haha. They charge alot for it but if anything ever happens its good peace of mind

    Back in the late '80s, for fun, I used $2K+ of electronics to drive a tiny pair of $50 Radio Shack speakers blowing away many a sceptic!

    I decided upon the following when advising an acquaintance on system assembly.

    Admin should post an AV system sticky w/the heading "read BEFORE deciding/buying:
    1. use your ego for electronics*, amplification** & sub in particular
    2. use your wallet for speakers
    * temper your processor decisions w/resignation to obsolescence/periodic replacement.
    ** capable amplification never dies! It may need maintenance (new caps) ~20-30 years however
