If that seller or his product doesn't work out, I think this High Tack (thinned) is the stuff I used. It was recommended at the time. Still pliant after 4 or 5 years. Dunno if there's better stuff recommended now though.b]Beach Audio[/b]: Rega RP6 (mods) - AT33PTG/II - Parks Budgie SUT - PSAudio NPC * Eversolo DMP-A6 * Topping D90iii * Joule-Electra LA-100 mkIII * Pass Aleph 30 * MIT S3 * Polk SRS 2.3tl (mods) * PSAudio PPP3

Thanks. I will keep that in mind. Ive read that Vintage AR has some sealant that is close to specs as can get. Ive read you can thin out with different other stuff with good results also. I messaged them & they are on vacation this week & that ls fine by me. Taking a break & enjoying the sunshine while i can up north here
EDIT::: i think i have some Hi Tack in the cabinet i use on the truck. That stuff comes in hand on alot of jobs... What did you mix it with ?.. -
I believe it was some sort of lacquer thinner - whatever is on the bottle label.
I should clarify that the High Tack stuff was the recommendation for KLH's about 5 yrs ago. Don't remember the source, but I don't think it was here because I had not joined at that time. May have been AK. I used it on 6's and 17's. I have never owned AR's, so I don't know if the High Tack goop is appropriate for them. I figured you were asking about the KLH 23's.b]Beach Audio[/b]: Rega RP6 (mods) - AT33PTG/II - Parks Budgie SUT - PSAudio NPC * Eversolo DMP-A6 * Topping D90iii * Joule-Electra LA-100 mkIII * Pass Aleph 30 * MIT S3 * Polk SRS 2.3tl (mods) * PSAudio PPP3

Yes. Thats the ones im doing. Crossovers should be here Friday & im putting in new binding post & last but not least-goop on the surrounds to keep them airtight. I have some stripping for the crossover plate & i will probably pull that & make sure its air tight. Thanks for the info...
