I'd love to know how many people have actually used the Twitter/Facebook options. I just don't get twitter. My life just isn't interesting enough to constantly post my daily events.

7am- woke up, took shower, put product in my hair, ate cereal
    9am- working
    10am- peed
    12pm- ate a hamburger
    12:45- working
    3pm- took a "bm"
    5pm- stopped working
    6pm- ate another hamburger
6:30pm- took another bm, then took some pepto
    8:00pm watched TV
    12am- went to sleep

To further emphasize my point, US wage growth for the last quarter.... .02%, lowest on record since the early 80's.

But my real estate taxes keep going north, my healthcare costs me 3g's a year more then 5 years ago. Groceries costs more, along with all consumer goods and my state raised it's state taxes to the highest of anyone. Equation equals.....disposable income down. Amount of toys to buy.....down.

Granted, this isn't the case for everyone, but it is for a lot of folks out there. So if the FM is moving slowly, my opinion is people just don't have the disposable income anymore and are forced to prioritize their purchases.

Okay so back on topic for a moment.

    1. Yes, the economy has not grown very much for the working poor and the middle class, and I am sure that this has an effect on unnecessary purchases. Most of the growth in the economy has been in the top 10%, with the vast majority in the top 2%.
    2. HOWEVER, look at the sales of electronics on amazon and ebay. They seem to be humming along just fine. So I don't think the effects are as grave as you imply.
    3. Furthermore, the point of this discussion has morphed from bering primarily an FM issue into a FORUM issue, and I certainly think the slow forum has little if anything to do with the economy. Again, look at other forums. And no, I don't think de-regulation of the FM will fix everything, but it can't hurt.

I just can't believe all you libertarians are so h3ll bent against deregulation. Let the market flow freely baby!!!
