Skip your bang on, Iwas just reading about the lotus and wztching youtube vids. There was this japanese guy who was testing the honda s2000 against the boxtser and also the lotus and he said that if yousuck at driving the boxster, s2000 and lotus were the ones to buy.

I dont know if I suck at driving but when Idrive something other than the boxster all my skills vanish and I would not feel safe or confident.

Miatas are almost universally considered "chick cars"............. They're really not but, someone that chooses a car based on image might want to avoid the Miata if they don't pee sitting down.

Beautiful car until you go in for an oil change. My brother-in-law bought a Maserati like the one pictured. When he got his first bill for routine service, he promptly sold it before he came in for the second service. The dealer said the second one would be $3,000.00 +/-.

Sorry your wrecked the Porsche. I used to go for the sporty cars. However, age has made me go for reliability and durability, as well as decent performance. Look at Lexus F-sport models.

LOL.....AGREE with all of that, and the Lexus sport models. The luxury Euro, or sports cars are not cheap to maintain. But hey PFB has lots of cash.

Supposedly Honda is bringing back the S2000 in 2017. Rumor is it will be a midengine, hardtop with 350 hp. & all wheel drive.

Audi S4 with the V8 engine. My brother had one and he sold it after the windshield wiper motor died and the new motor was almost $1K, no labor included.

Your Boxster certainly does have these controls. Perhaps they aren't intrusive enough for you to even notice. No amount of idiot proofing will keep any car from running straight off a cliff if that's what the driver intends.

On a really good drivers car they are aids to help you when you make little mistakes, etc., and they are not at all intrusive. Not going to save you if you are an idiot.

Challenger with the Hemi. I love mine so far. Rides better than any other retro out there and actually has room in the trunk and back seat. Handles well, sounds great and will turn a head or two now and then. Can use 87 gas, but 89 is recommended.

After my 20 year old car was stolen at the back end of last year, my insurance company gave me enough to buy a pretty decent bicycle. So I bought a roller skate instead. No 5 on this list - Fiesta ST. Drive at the speed limit but don't slow down for any bends < about 80 degrees. Makes me smile.

If you can drive more than 50ft in a Fiat 500 Abarth without grinning like an idiot, you have no soul. My buddy's Abarth is pushing 300hp and it is the stupidest, funnest giggle like an idiot fest I have driven. Put it in a parking ramp and you have absolutely zero need for a road course.
