    Did the system get sold?

I have two RT3000 subs (one with a dead amp) and waiting on a CS1000p to arrive.

I have been looking for a complete system to buy and then probably sell what I have.

Sounds like this system got parted out.

Well, the individual sale is not working out at the moment so the system is still available.

    Still for sale!

You got me thinking we should do a shoot out before I sell them. Even with just my AVR the system just cranks playing Pacific Rim and Godzilla. Been wondering what it will do with a stout amp connected. Humm??

    Bump....

Great deal for someone. All the work of putting the full system together is done for you.

I cant tell you how hard it is to piece together one of these if its not already a full set....

I keep getting lowball offers from craigslist...$450, $750, etc....

I may be keeping them for awhile. So Dan we need to set something set up to do the comparison to the LSi's. I may be going to Iowa on the 25'th to put them up against the curved/shorter Statements II's I plan to build
    http://www.htguide.com/forum/showthread.php?42607-Statement-II-The-Remix/page4
    and the original Statement II

    Should be fun.....

This is one of those legendary systems that is a total blast to listen to and experience.
I've Installed many of them and it's always ear to ear smiles.
It's a very tempting offer here.

I got confused a few posts back. Did the FX1000's get sold ? And are you just back to selling the set as a full system again now ? I've been needing the FX1000's in rosewood to complete my system for years and years.

    I live in NC 28403.

I know you hate to let that system go !!

Yes, the individual sale fell apart. There is a local guy that seems interested in the set. Yes, these are hard to part with but I have other things I would like to try. I might be able to even pull off two systems in the next house. Should be moving soon.

If anything changes I will let you know.

These have been posted for over 3 months here and Craigslist on and off. This post has been viewed 1.4K times. I guess the timing is bad? I guess they will be moving over to the new (to us) house. Not a bad thing....... :D

There is no manual for the "RT5000 system". The RT5000 system isn't a speaker. It consists of several speakers. The RT3000p & CS1000p are the main speakers of the RT5000 system with optional surrounds and separate subs. The top of the line RT5000 also had f/x1000 surrounds with a PSW650 sub.

Here's a link to info on vintage Polk speakers. There are links for the manuals under each model in PDF format:
