    I agree that the price offered through the Pawn shop is a steal. Everything else can be evaluated/purchased to support. But I truly believe that once you get that M-80 back from Legendary Amps, as long as you drive only the one set of speakers (don't hook speakers to B or C outputs) you should be 'good to go.'

    My advice, get the speakers already. Use the 2 Sonys (2 channel), and bi-amp the 1.2s. Remove the jumpers between the Hi-Pass and Lo-Pass Binding Posts if installed.
    Since the Sonys are identical, you won't have to worry about gain matching. Make a temporary interconnect with two RCA Plugs, and a length of 10 or 12 gauge speaker wire (single conductor). Cut or break the ground shield off the plugs so that only the pin remains. Try them out, and see if you like them. When you get the Yamaha back, replace the Sonys, and re-install the jumpers. If you decide to keep them, let the upgrades begin. As we say here, welcome to the rabbit hole.
