    Too bad everyone is going in that direction that I bought into it. Didn't want to get left behind especially with a new purchase

    Color and contrast are being maxed out, you just have to move up the chain in 4k sets. Just like there's a distinct difference in a 500 buck Wally world plasma and a Panny or Kuro.

    Maybe the set you saw at a neighbors wasn't calibrated properly ?

    Sony 4k sets are very nice. I'm not jumping on one just yet as I still love my Kuro after all these years but when it goes I have a back up plan.
