    I just purchased a pr of 703's along with a 706c. I wanted a pr of 705's, but they were out of stock in Mt Vernon Cherry.

    Did you ask about a rain check?

    I didn't. I assumed the deal was subject to stock on hand.
    However, I placed my order at about 5pm Wednesday. 6am Thursday I checked the website again and it showed the cherry 705's back in stock. I called Polk customer service and explained the situation. The gentleman from cs stated that my order was in progress and he could not intervene. He also stated that despite the website showing them in stock, he said the 705's were not in stock. He never mentioned anything about a raincheck. I didn't receive my tracking number until 5pm Friday, not sure why he couldn't intervene or suggest a raincheck?

    New member here - happily stumbled across this forum researching in-wall surrounds for our new media room. Unfortunately I've registered too late it seems so if anyone has a code they aren't using it'd be greatly appreciated and hopefully I could repay the favor in some way in the future.

    Now off to hide my credit card, grab a beer and get lost in this forum!

    I received the e-mail confirming the shipment of my Polk Audio Boom Swimmer and decided to hold off on the showers until it's arrival :s I bet this will be the first audio shipment the wife will be overly excited about!!!
