These notifications are just a tease for the Canadian Polkies - they send me the code, but won't let me buy! No worries though, only thing I'm in the market for is the 706 and looks like they're sold out already.

Surprised they put another sale on so soon - very nice.

Why would they not let you buy? Canadian address Canadian credit card both, shipping?

Note signed up earlier and no code, I got a 10% off first purchase code.

I checked with customer service during the previous sale - US credit card and US shipping address required - they were very nice about it, guess they've had problems with scammers in the past.

I have no problems with a us address and I think I can go through PayPal. Will try a test run right now. :)

I'm in the same boat with you jflail2, I'm hoping someone local to me will want to take advantage of this kind offering from Polk to upgrade from their LSi9's to the LSiM 705's or 707's.

How do you get the discount?

Try going to polkaudio.com and register for email updates with the envelope icon on the top right. That used to be how you got the code, not sure now...

I just registered for e-mail updates, as Ken suggested, and only got a code for a 10% discount, not for the 50% discount.

If registering doesn't get you the code email I'd suggest either a call to CS or a PM to Kenneth Swauger. Could be that the promotion is only open to existing subscribers, IDK. I passed my code off to gfong with the understanding that if he couldn't use it in Canada that I could give it to someone else...

I'll take a pair of the later model SDA's everyday and twice on Sunday. Yes, I've heard the LSiM 703, 705 and 707's.

Apples and oranges. At 50% off try the newer offerings and see if they blow your sack back (tonyb). If not, you can surely sell and recoup your funds...

My only qualm about these sales is people buying the expensive LSiM's and then reselling them as brand new at 75% off Polk price, profiting 25% of the original price.

It's 50% off, no? So they buy them at 50% off, sell them at 75% of the original price, and profit 25% of the original price?

    I suck at math. :'(

Just reread my post, and I misspelled of as off.
