It's that time of year again, lots of new Polk owners will be joining in the fun here. May God have mercy on our souls.

    No they won't.

They'll never find the link at the bottom of the page.

They'll go to the other forums and when those communities get tired of them, they'll send them over here.

We probably have until mid-February at the earliest.

LOL. The real problem is at the gym. Every freaking year someone makes a New Year's Resolution to get into shape. Every freaking year you have to teach gym etiquette to newbies. "No. This bench is not here for you to sit on." A couple of months later, and 99% are history. LOL.

You have 88 posts here, buddy. Half of them are lectures to the community. Cool your jets on the piousness. We have enough of those types around here already. Don't need anymore.

The only thing post counts matter for is knowing how much you've been involved here. Your join date is September of this year. I know I'm not the only one wondering "Who's this guy?". Why don't you get to know people before you start jabbering at them? 'Cause it comes off like you're judging people before even giving them a chance. Makes people wonder why they should give you a chance. That's the problem with "new people" that this thread is about. Yeah, we were all new here at one time but you still are and you're not exactly endearing yourself.

This has been a public service announcement by me.

Come on now, I don't think jstas was implying that at all. Take some time to get to know some of us, if you have helpful knowledge or experiences on certain pieces of equipment ,chime in. We were all new here at one time, but we also knew to respect those who have attributed many years of experience and knowledge to the Club Polk forum and be appreciative to learn from them.

This used to be a much bigger problem when more Big Box stores sold POLK! Now that most of those are gone and Polk seems to be defaulting to online sales, I wonder how much traffic we will get in this coming season?

The other question is: How healthy are Polk sales at the moment compared to that period? I don't know. I do know they've introduced a lot of lower end (pricing wise) wireless devices, Desktop speakers, music serving, soundbars, and H-phones. But how much can you make from "accessories" alone without the sales of bigger ticket items?

Apparently a lot CNH. Profit margins may be bigger on bigger ticket items such as speakers, but you can sell a lot more lower ticket items. Especially to a segment of your consumer base that doesn't exactly put a priority on quality audio. We have Walmarts...and Macy's for a reason.

That's hilarious. Maybe if you hung around 10-12 WEEKS and had more than 88 posts shoving your piousness down everybody's gullet you'd get more slack before someone told you to lighten up, Francis.

Yup I first saw him in a rerun of Space Seed as a kid and fell in love. I was over the moon when he starred in Fantasy Island! I didn't recognize him at first but I remembered his voice and his beautiful eyes.

He was always well buffed, people debated if that was his chest in TWOK, but it was confirmed that it was all him. When he was on the Colbys, he had to have his shirts custom made because he had such a well developed chest.

Wonderful actor, and a good man. Was married for 63 years to Loretta Young's sister and died 2 years after her death.

All the sites have his nationality as Mexican, but while he was born and grew up in Mexico, he is actually Spanish. His parent were native to Spain.
