We are just left wanting an explanation about his high end cable comment. I have invested a substantial amount into that area so lets say some ignorant novice has never tried any and starts making snide comments then they should be backed up. Tony I think youl find the only real insults are coming from Mr Tinfoil Hat as the rest is just our usual banter and Tinfoil can dish out but not take as evident in this thread.

He bought a product, liked it, and posted it on another forum, which has nothing to do with this forum, yet you felt the need to bring it over here. That speaks volumes about you, not him.

I second that opinion of Johnny, a true asset to CP and one of the best guys around.

What kind of asset to the forum makes fun of members who does not have a job or call their finances into question in a derogatory manner?

I see this as PFB poking a bit of fun, harmless enough. The responses from THJ are bizarre, insulting and uncalled for.

Generally agree, but there may be exceptions.I prefer my cables soaked in sweat from Katie Perry's cleavage.
.... oh, yeah. There are exceptions.
Before I'd shell out $1k+, I'd have to actually be present to see my cables being "manufactured", though.
.... just to make sure they're genuine. Would be willing to actually assist in the production phase, too. Please. Pretty please.

You can always have your cables torn apart and examined by a metallurgical Engineer in a LAB? Get schematics for anything that's on the end of a cable and so on if you're skeptical. I don't see anything wrong with that. And if the LAB finds "nothing" extraordinary about the cable and you still hear "something"; well that's a good thing and none of us can refute what you "hear" not even the M.S.!
And that's why I rarely engage in cable debates. Those DAMN human ears and human hearing are B$%$%s! Some of you hear things I don't and vice versa!

Eh IMHO PFB asked for whatever he got by starting this thread.
He cant sit back and say "hey NOW you took it too far".....
You poke someone a bit too much and they hit you in the face... well thats your problem....
And if PFB didnt post his life story here about losing his job Johnny would have had one less punch to throw.....polkfarmboy wrote: »What kind of asset to the forum makes fun of members who does not have a job or call their finances into question in a derogatory manner?
Dude? Seriously? You start a thread in "fun" but as always it goes too far and maybe johnny took it to seriously, maybe not, but regardless its obvious you pissed him off...
So he hit back..... you started it, he ended it...
How bout we all sit back throw on some tunes and STFU.

yes after reading some of the posts I took it wrong and personal, so my bad for sure. One member even took this into another thread I started and I got a kick out of it. I doubt he expected that??. but true this..not everyone here will like everybody (such is life) but I have made some cool friends here and need not worry that or what I do is up to everyone's standards. I am just grateful for what I have and who I am, so I promise I will never sling a negative thing on this or any forum again. I only wish well to all and peace in all you do. Thanks for the fun thread PFB, I will Karma my new Snake cables to you when I grow tired of looking at them. Totally love the look, so it may be a while?? Hey THJ every one gets poked at or polked at round here one time or another no biggie just deal with it, even I have been a recipient a time or two slung some s..t back and got over it pretty quickly, I did not read the link PFB provided at first so I responded thinking he was the one getting the alien crystal technology, but with the bad rap Chezzy and Patrick had to not expect a little ribbing was not what you expected.
I think you did good with your last response and should let bygones be bygones, like you yourself tell All the newbies that it's a great bunch of people here and that it is. I think we will still be waiting to here your thoughts on your purchase now knowing that you did not have to dig into the savings account to get them.Home Theater
