Do you have a dedicated 20 amp line running to your amp?
Unfortunately not yet, dedicated 15 amp, hospital heavy duty 20A plug from the Home Depot (orange one) and 14 or 12ga wire in the walls, and the factory Parasound power cords, eventually I want to have a separate breaker box in the basement for the HT gear, but time is being spent turning hobby money into race rubber dust and gasoline to music.Up

Gotcha. I'm sure a 20 amp/10 gauge line would free up that amp nicely.Political Correctness'.........defined

I bet! Fortunately in the mean time I've got four dedicated 15A circuits, one for the front end gear and HCA-2003 (center and rears) one for the 3500, one for the subs and one for the projector, but they're all run off the same breaker box as the whole house. When it happens I'll be working with a veteran electrician (who does fantastic work and doesn't charge nearly enough) to get the HT gear as separated from the rest of the house as possible. And adding three times what I really need as I've got the room and I'd love to have a separate 2 channel rig in the basement in the future...just time and money...Or if I could quit auto racing. But like Peter Egan says..."Racing makes heroin addiction seem like a vague wish for something salty."
Anyway, back on topic, If you want the 12's to really blow you away, probably going to need more power. Though 200w is a fantastic starting point.Up
