    How cool. Two original six teams going at it for the 34 time in history. Boston/Montreal. For some reason I don't see Montreal winning this one. Boston is a beast of a team that just wears you down.

    Man, my Chicago/St. Louis series is great. Fast paced, hard hitting...and my Hawks have come back from being 2 games down to winning 3 in a row. Back home for game 6 and we hope they can wrap it up. Don't know if they can go all the way this year, but hey, stranger things have happened.

    Chicago/St. Louis has been the best series by far. Fast paced, hard hitting, great goal scoring, goaltending, in your face Playoff Hockey. Flyers/Rangers at noon should be decent game. My Flyers are keeping it interesting.

    I've been inventing new curse words while watching the Blues/Blackhawks series.

    The Blackhawks have been playing excellent, disciplined hockey. It took the Blues 2 games to figure out that maybe playing pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass in the Hawks zone at the blue line doesn't ....and you can write this down for future reference .......

    It has been a good series, though. I kind of wish Hitchcock were a little more animated behind the bench (motivation ? inspiration ?) but I kind of wish we had the Plager brothers playing defense, too. Ain't gonna happen.

    I won't jinx the Blues by congratulating the Blackhawks just yet, though. Nope, I'll wait until Game 6 is over before I do that. :cry:

    BTW: Seabrooks hit on Backes wasn't a dirty hit, but what's-his-puss calling out "Wakey Wakey" while Backes was out on his feet was pretty chicken manure.

    Sharks are blowing it. They were up 3 games to none over LA, now it is 3-2 with the next game Monday night in LA.

    One of the things I like about hockey is that they shake hands after the game. I am not so sure I could do it after all the blood and guts I just left on the ice!!! Honestly, I would shake hands and respect my opponent one way or another. Great sportsmanship.

    Yep, last night's game was awful. Maybe they don't deserve to get past the first round if they are playing like this. So disappointing.

    Wow....great game for the Hawks to clean house at home. 4 frickin' minutes with a power play and the Blues couldn't score. Matter of fact, they didn't score on any of their power plays. Hawks just turned on the heat in the 3rd and it was over.

    Maybe a Boston/Hawks rematch.....

    I'll also echo Mr. BBL's comments about passing until your dizzy.

    I thought the Blues would win the series but the Hawks just find a way to win.I would like to see little Joey T and the Sharks finally break through and win the west.They have had some great teams that have fallen short so they are due.
    Unless Pricer plays absolutley lights out I don't see my Hab's beating the bigger,stronger Bruins but they should make a series of it.Can't wait for it to start.

    Why did the league suspend Seabrooks?

    I watched the hit many times and came to the conclusion............................ It's hockey and they hit and no one knows that better than Backes. Maybe it was a cheap dirty shot but .... it goes with the territory.

    Picked the Blue's and Boston for the cup at the beginning of the year. Because of free agency I never pick the team that won it last year. That's what I get for underestimating Chicago. Why or why do the Rangers toy with me. The Rangers can just own my team, yet they still let them stay in this series. lol

    I agree, they should shake things up. I would like to see Marleau go finally, but I'm afraid that will never happen. Niemi is really easy to beat, just look at any of his video. I'm mostly pissed at Dan Boyle, he literally did nothing tonight.

    I'll be watching the Anaheim vs. LA series though, should be interesting.

    huh? I have no dog in this fight, but NOT a dirty hit? He skated full speed, launched himself in the air, led with his elbow and landed said elbow squarely in the jaw of Backes. LOL
