This might flounder like a dead fish but wanted to throw this out there.

Ever find something out and it blows your mind? Something maybe so obscure how would you know or maybe so mainstream and you were the last to know? I'll start with two things that I just found out in the last week.

The drummer for Nirvana is Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters. I like Nirvana on occasion but I just didn't know.

Bob Dylan's song Hurricane is about Rubin "Hurricane" Carter - The former fierce middleweight prizefighter became an international symbol after he was convicted twice for a 1966 triple murder. Carter's conviction was eventually overturned by a federal judge. I heard the news that Rubin passed away yesterday. Story on npr.org.

I apologize in advance if this is lame but might just be mind blowing for the rest of us too if this has happened to you and you want to share.

I just realized how strange (to me anyways) it is that for the Little Ceasar's pizza commercial there is a Mexican Mariachi band playing.

On the money topic, I find it mind boggling that when you go to the bank for a loan ie for a car your loan is created as debt..
They manufacture the money out of thin air, they just add it to their debt, and collect all the benefits of loaning you nothing..no risk to them..
    It still boggles my mind..
It's like interest, it can never be paid back because it does not exist..
If you loan someone a $100 and they have to pay back $107 where does the $7 come from when you only have $100..
Damn I'm ranting someone pull the plug..on me..lol

I never knew the "Old Testament" portion of the Christian Bible, is nearly the same as the Hebrew Bible. Depending on your particular flavor of Christianity, it's exactly the same.

In all seriousness, this has been a huge revelation for me over the last few years. Also, add clean power in the form of dedicated AC lines, power conditioners, and power cables. Who would have thought a power cable can make your stereo sound better.

May as well mention vibration control as another audio revelation. The improvements are right up there with cable. Until I experienced it, I would never have believed it.

You're thinking of Them Crooked Vultures.

Them Crooked Vultures is a rock supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 2009 by John Paul Jones (former member of Led Zeppelin), Dave Grohl (of Foo Fighters and formerly of Nirvana), and Josh Homme (of Queens of the Stone Age and formerly of Kyuss).

Didn't he play on Songs for the Deaf? I know he's not still their drummer... Maybe I'm all confused here.
