I remember once in MA having to ring the doorbell to summon her (EDIT: that's be Mrs. H) downstairs to let me in -- the one time I've done it here, it was much less fraught (as they say) since we have a keyless entry thing for the garage door... but we digress.

I never realized as a youth how fast my money would disappear when I got married. I also never realized how fast it would reappear when I got divorced.

I never realized how many words of the English language my dog knows....until I started counting. More than most 5 year olds, and certainly approaching many adults.

I never realized women are some Alien beings. Anything that bleeds for 7 days straight and doesn't die can't be human.

I never realized duct tape had so many uses.
