"Meditation," an old, budget CD for which I can't even find album art, but which has some of my favorite pieces of music:
J. Massenet, Thais: "Meditation"
W.A. Mozart, Clarinet Concerto KV 622: Adagio
T. Albinoni, Concerto, Op. 9 No. 2: Adagio
C.W. Gluck, Dance of the Blessed Spirits
Among others.Family Room, Innuos Statement streamer (Roon Core) with Morrow Audio USB cable to McIntosh MC 2700 pre with DC2 Digital Audio Module; AQ Sky XLRs to CAT 600.2 dualmono amp, Morrow Elite Speaker Cables to NOLA Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 speakers. Power source for all components: Silver Circle Audio Pure Power One with dedicated 20 amp circuit to main panel.

Great album! Might have to play this one and Walls and Bridges (Lennon) in a few.
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Red: How's the SQ on that Stones SACD?

Red: How's the SQ on that Stones SACD?
SACD of the greatest R-n-R band in the world when they were.
-
Red: I wasn't as lukewarm to it as some, but haven't heard many Stones albums on SACD, so was wondering. I could see where some of the spacier stuff on that album would sound a lot better on SACD though. Would like to get Sticky Fingers on SACD. I'll bet that Ya Ya's is pretty good SQ too ....
