    Saw the Carolina Chocolate Drops last night in the intimate Stoughton Opera House, a restored 500 seat facility, in the front row center of the balcony. Excellent sound, superb musicians. Saw them several years ago at Jazzfest in New Orleans. Tremendous roots music. Guitarist did a solo Mississippi Fred McDowell song, which may be the first time I've seen anyone do one live.
