    Tom, the one I shared last night is their 1st album. The Trinity Session is their 2nd.

    That might explain why The Trinity Session gets the most play. I'll order the first one.

    Perseverance. Had to wade deep back into ComputerAudiophile, rebranded as AudiophileStyle to remember how to extract the sacd ISO from the disc using my Sony BD player...

    It was worth the effort! The DSD master of this surpasses the redbook version by a long shot!

    It's been a stint since I pulled this one out. Glad I did. The difference in the rig between the last time and now reveals a whole other layer of music within the music. Pretty damned good recording! That, and I am a fan of her voice. She is a great Alto with a unique raspiness to her vocal cords.

    Ron Carter: Golden Striker
    In+Out Records LP 77133-1 {2LP set; recorded October 30, 2016 live at Theaterstübchen, Kassel, Germany; released 2021}

    Plopped this down on my newly-acquired ReVox B795 with its Ortofon OM 30 cartridge and piped it through my SDA CRS+ speakers to achieve aural bliss on a Sunday afternoon.

    I got to see the Maestro with his Foursight Quartet (Renee Rosnes on piano, Jimmy Greene on tenor saxophone, and Payton Crossley on drums) at the Blue Note in New York City last year. Brilliant!

    Working from my home office, with a long playlist of ELO today. I recently acquired some of the better pressed CDs from their golden years.

    More Rare Bird? I must not be in the cool kids gang because I'm unaware of the group.

    Did a quick search and if the description is right, do they maybe have a similar sound to Emerson, Lake, and Palmer?

    I wouldn’t say that. If you stream from one of the available services try the 1st album

    I don't currently have any paid streaming services for music. I just have Radio Paradise (I donate), and free Spotify+free Pandora. I'll see if I can at least find a few songs.

    It's been a while since this was spun. I had forgotten how much I liked this album. Not audiophile, just good tunes IMO.

    I was wrapping up college in '94 and remember that fondly playing on 89X up around Detroit. Miss that station.
    I never knew they were graduates of Columbine High School.
