PBS (I work for our state public broadcasting agency) is in fund raising drive time and last night they aired Zappa Plays Zappa. Dweezle has done an excellent job on this. If you have the opportunity, check it out.

    Now:

    The Who - Tommy (DVD-A)

Definitely one of best 5.1 mixes I have heard. Very well done.

I had forgotten how good this LP is.IIRC, it was the next release following Aqualung. I was fortunate to see them on both tours, back in the day. This lp took us by surprise as it differed from the "standard" concert/record philisophy, and is/was considered a "conceptual" lp.

and,, where was Biggles when you needed him last Saturday

    Max Quad--over and out

This is one of my all time favorites. I have both the covers. The one that folds out like a newspaper and a couple that don't.

The Thick as a Brick concert I attended was one of the best I've ever seen!

A mix that my son remastered from the sountrack on a video game. Oblivion is what I think the game is called. He does a fantastic job of extracting music from DVD and games. I gave him Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection and he has gone wild with it. I have to say his quality is pretty damn good. He also does beats and mixes on his own from several artists for a 'club' like experience. I'll have to post a video or two he has done for youtube when I can find them. He makes his own music videos too.
