Never saw that on a sub cable. What do you connect them to? -
the idea is to ground the Sub to your preamp. You find a ground point on the sub amp like a chassis screw, then take to other side and do the same on the preamp or receiver. If your receiver has a Built in Phono preamp, you can use the ground terminal provided which I have done in the past for a dead silent Sub. The cable works as I have owned them myself. High quality and for the money it's a steal.
