Couldn't find the schematics, but there is one on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/REALISTIC-NOVA-8B-40-4026A-SPEAKER-PARTS-rear-panel-crossover-/161117374931
Looks like a 10uf, and a smaller value cp. Maybe contact the seller and see if he can read the value on the other one.

You should do a search over on Audiokarma.org There is an entire thread on Modding a Nova 8B, I believe, that improves the original crossovers and takes them up a notch. I have an old pair of Nova 8 originals that I will eventually do something with.

This is not such a good idea unless you've got money to burn. Your better off getting the correct values from the actual crossovers. Schematics are a good starting point but I have found them to be wrong or out of date (earlier/later version) too many times.

I always liked the vintage RS speakers. Well maybe not all but atleast agood many. I have several in my collection though they have not been in rotation for quitre some time. Can't remember all the models. Found a unique pair a while back, seem to be modeled after the Monitor 7 with a shallow wide cabinet like some of the earlier Bostons. Good luck and enjoy. They are not polks but pretty nice for what they are. I have the 8 or the 8B and would be happy to take them apart and look for you but they are packed away pretty deep and can't easily get to them right now.

Update... Nephew brought them over...cabs are not so hot..but with some talc ????

One speakers has blown tweeter, and the two kids are blown...

Some turkey dissected them at one point..and lost he speakers screws..but did redneck them back together with drywall screws :-(.
I also had to resolder both woofer coils as somehow they came ' UN soldered'

Well I need 1 tweet and 2 midranges

Are these Junkers or worth saving ??????

Don't know if George meant Nope they aren't junk, or Nope they aren't worth saving. I would say that's up to you and your nephew. It would naturally depend on cost of replacement parts and how well the nephew likes the speakers. As pointed out previously I am fond of several of the vintage RS gear. From a sound standpoint they are simple speakers for simple ears. But you just kind find that look too much anymore. I'll try to check and see if I can get to my RS stuff. I have the parts you need, but I am not sure how deeply buried they are.

I meant I personally wouldn't spend a nickel, or fifteen minutes trying to salvage them.
