Here is my living room where the system will be. 16' from the tv to the back wall and 25' across. The entire room is actually about 38' across but the seating area is 25'. All of the equipment will be in that closet to the left of the tv, it's all wired for power and the speaker wires and hdmi from the tv runs into it. We had a house fire back in April of last year that we lost the entire half of the house with the bedrooms. They had to gut the entire house so I had the electrician run all the speaker wire in the walls and put jacks for me. He ran 14 gauge fire resistant wire. That was the biggest he had, hopefully it'll suffice. He also ran a coax run from the media closet to behind my recliner in the corner for the sub. I ordered some rca to f connectors. Anyway, here are some before shots of where it's all going, if I can figure out how to post a pic. I ordered a pair of the Pinpoint AM40 mounts for the rear speakers. Not sure how I'm going to place the center under the tv yet. I think I may fabricate a bracket out of steel and weld it.

I also had the electrician run 2 pairs of wire to the front channels so I could bi-wire if need be.

I almost forgot, at the request of my wife, I ordered the cd player that is linked below. I've always used my dvd player or xbox to play cd's which annoyed her because of the menus. I saw this one got good reviews for the money and seemed much simpler to operate. I didn't want to get into big money for a cd player. I'll be using my xbox one for now to play my blue rays.

The center can be mounted via a pair of "L" brackets - you should be able to find such a 'kit' someplace on line.

B-Tech (now Pinpoint, I think) had a center channel mount kit... BT-15

[edit: checked on-line, Pinpoint's AM-15 is the exact same unit I used which was the BT-15]

    Just a though.

When all is said and done, I will also be running the A3's as rears. Like you I also strongly considered using the AM40's to mount them. My situation being a little different, like patching holes and painting after running wire, I had a lot of time to research various products for mounting these rather large heavy speakers.

I actually found something I like better than the AM40's. Not really a speaker mount, but a component mount. Peerless ESHV20, can be found at stands and mounts for $39 each. Kind of like the idea of a glass shelf rather than an industrial type speaker mount. Of course I don't need to tilt the speakers in my application, but just thought I would throw this out there.

For what its worth, I usually plug the omnimount 20.0 W's. They've worked great for my FXiA6's.

Ugh, everything is being delivered tomorrow except for the 2 a5's. Crutchfield shipped them via some sort of air carrier and the tracking is showing them getting to me by Wednesday and I have to be home to arrange delivery. Already got all the mounts and the Onkyo CD player today. Was hoping to get it all set up this weekend. Oh well, I saved almost $400 in tax, so I guess another week won't kill anyone.

They shipped mine on ups freight. Check your tracking number and you might be able to go to ups and pick them up earlier if you live close by. That is what I did and got mine 3 days before they were going to deliver them.

Jason, how did everything turn out? I just read through this thread and wish I had a little earlier. My set up is exactly the same as yours, except I have a different center.

    AVR: Denon X4000
    Fronts: Cherry RTiA5's
    Center: TL3
    Sub: (2) DSW 660's
    Surround R/L: TL3's
    Surround Rears: TL3's

I love everything about mine, but think I need to up my center speaker. How do you like the CSiA6?

+1, i've got the Csi5 and it's great. The center is very important for HT so i'd always go with the biggest and baddest one you can find!

yea i find myself having to turn up the volume during movies because I can't seem to hear the vocals or people talking over other environment sounds sometime. I'm assuming a better center will help hit those high's, and really let me hear people talking without being drowned out by other sounds?

Snowman!: you will like the coherency improvement that the 'A6 will bring to your system. Two more pluses: identical tweeters &
6 1/2" mids across the front

You may be experiencing (some) phase cancelation w/your current LCR requiring higher volume likely due to Polk didn't intend for thatcenter to work w/those LR.

You must've missed my post I made when everything arrived. Pics are in it.....Here it is... http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?158684-My-new-system-has-arrived!!-%28Pics%29

I love the A6 center. I did have to go in and manually put it a little louder than what audessy had it at, but it's all good now. Did you try to turn just the center up some? Since taking the pics in the thread, I have moved my towers as far left and right as they could go, pulled them off the wall a bit and turned them in some. All at the advice of this forum. Sounds better that way. The only thing I can see in my future is adding an amp and another sub for the other side of my couch. I don't think I could've done much better in my budget and am very pleased.

I badly want to do the piano gloss technique for the polk cherry that was posted on this site a while back, just haven't built up the nerve yet. The speakers are still too new. LOL
