I am looking for a center speaker to complete my HT. I have LSi9´s front speakers and LSi7´s for surrounds speakers.

I wonder what can be better and matching with my LSi series if the LSiM704c or the CSiA6. My room is about 18x14 size.

thanks in advanced,

    Why not an original LSi-C?

It is discontinued, but you should be able to find a used one.

do you think that best option is a LSiC used one (4 ohm) than a (for example) a LSiM 704c (8 ohm)?

Personally, I think the best match to your fronts is a 3rd LSi9.

    +1

    Best answer yet.

To the OP, go all 4ohm or all 8ohm. The LSiC is the logical choice over your first center choices, but a third i9 would be a lock.

I agree it would be very good option to get a third LSi9 but i think it would be so difficult to get only one...

Friend, your seriously under powering these speakers, especially the 9'S. You need an amplifier for that many 4 ohm speakers, no receiver will be able to handle those without risks involved.

What are you running in? 5.1 or 7.1?

Because if it's 5.1 you could just buy a pair of Lsi-9s and use one as a center back for a 6.1 set up!

I used to have the LSIc and was not a big fan. The 3rd LSI9 would be a good choice as others suggested. I had the LSI9s as fronts and really enjoyed them but I did run a separate amp which is needed to make them reach their full potential.

The LSIC gets kicked around a lot in here. Not by me, I owned it and liked it very much. I had it blended into the front array perfectly with no hint of fault. I suggest getting one, there is nothing wrong with the LSIC.

LSi9 laying on it's side perhaps?

Seems that would work well no?

But really, a LSiX speaker of any kind will blend best with your other speakers.

I thought the LSiC sounded great. The LSi9 has an offset tweeter. That would probably drive me crazy if I was using it as a center. Not that I'd necessarily notice in terms of sound, but just knowing that the tweeter wasn't centered would agitate me.

even if you get an old LSiC, you can modify the crossovers, so you don't have to worry too much about it being old. It's still a great speaker.

I'll give some thoughts about your comments although after read you i think too that LSiC or a third LSi9 could be the best option.

Thank you very much. I especially appreciate your help.
