What is better for making a 7.2 surround sound, FXiA4 or RTiA3?

I already have RTiA5 towers, CSiA6 center, FXiA6 surrounds and two Polk PSW505 subs. What is a better speaker for creating a 7.2 setup? The FXiA4 or the RTiA3? Both are the same price from Polk's ebay store. I think the FXiA4 would look better on the wall obviously than the RTiA3. And which speaker would you use as the rear versus the surround?

I run Fxi5's on the sides and Fxi3's for rears and like them a lot. I have the sides set to Dipole and rears set to Bipole and completely fills the sides and rear of the room with sound, i've only had it a few weeks but really like the setup.

One thing you may wish to consider in you decision is the size of the speaker. The RTI A3 are pretty big. They ar about 14 inches deep. They do have one of those mounting holes, but I personally wouldn't mount them on a wall. A very steardy shelf or stand would be better choices. I have a pair of RTI A1's for rears right now, using the A3's for surrounds, but that will eventually change.
If you have the room, go with the A3's, if not I would suggest something from the FX series or consider the RTI A1's. The A1's are probably the biggest speakers I would personally mount on a wall. -
That is why I was thinking the Fxia4s. The side surrounds have to be up about 7.5 feet in the air so the rears will have to follow suit so I doubt a stand will work so the speakers will have to be wall mounted.

Lots of great info here:

Another thought, you can always mount the FXi with the woofer pointing toward the listener and run them in bipole, this is what I've done and it works.
In the future I plan on expanding to 7.1 as well, I may try using a pair of Rt35i's I have as rears and the FXiA6 as sides.Up

I use a similar setup with RTi4s as rear surrounds.
I ended up mounting my FXi's much lower than most (maybe about 6ft off the ground). I was also forced to put the RTis near the ceiling in a downfiring position. Just food for thought.Polk Fronts: RTi A7's
