Checking Craig’s list this weekend and ended up buying two Pair of SDA 1C's, my wife thinks I'm crazy. I’m gonna need a new house with a man cave. She barely let me place them next to my SDA SRS's to take pictures before saying get those things back in the garage. I’m new here but have always loved my Polk’s. Now it’s time to get to know you all and start saving and accumulating the parts to mod all 6 of my Polk’s.

Yes I know This is not the house of my dreams! I've owned them since new in 1985. They have seen many homes Bouncing around the Marine Corps for 30 years. Some had great placement and some don't like this one.

Yes one Pair are I'm assuming one of the first Pairs made and have a separate blade/blade connector. I got the IC cable with this pair. The other pair are Pin/Blade and this pair is in Mint condition.

Opps...I meant BP2002TL's not BP10's. Not sure why I was thinking they were BP10's.

I know you were! Glad to start getting to know some of you. I have had the SDA SRS for half my life lol. Never even thought you could make them better until I found this forum and started seeing all the great mods people are doing. That inspired me to find as I call them the little Polk's to start learning and modding with before I tear into my babies. Also just to let everyone know the big Polk’s are in a corner because the wife is changing the living room up with new entertainment center sectional couch etc. I don't even have the new Yamaha A-3030 hooked up yet. Waiting for her before I run wires etc.

That was me. I couldn't post pics on here without cleaning them alittle. I rubbed some Danish Oil on them with some steel wool.

I'm more than likely going to build new tops and bottom's and I like the idea someone had on here of building the side strips like on the big boys. I might go all oak like my SDA SRS. I will for sure do much more reading on here and most likely take advice from those who have already been there done that.

That's what I was thinking. Don't think the wife will buy off on it though. What is it with women that they can't see the beauty we men see in a room full of Polk's. I NEED A MAN CAVE!!!!!

Would that kinda be a waste to do a 5 channel with SDA's? I know, I've always heard the ideal surround set up is to have the same speaker for all channels.....but....this is a little bit different monster here. lol

I know that's why I just had to have them. One pair was 70 miles away and the other 60 the opposite. Thank god they fit in the Nissan at 30 mpg or I would have had to use my truck......we won't talk gas milage for the truck lol. 260 miles round trip. I'll I could do after watching my Seahawks lose was to go beam from ear to ear at the 1C's
