Why is this thread still here? This whole thing is stupid...

I was wondering the same thing, and I think that Polk is allowing polklism to 'state his case' so to speak.
I would hope that the "friends" and "friends of friends" that are associated with polklism drop by here to read of his 'plight" .

His posts tell the tale, IMO. Any intelligent, moral person would see that.

..... well, not anymore, after I shared what Polk accused me of over the weekend. Read my first post.

cool down man. instead of posting this in other audio forums and make a big scene out of it. By posting here first, I was just hoping someone in the Sales Department look into my orders and see what they can do.

    Polklism's NON-responses tell a tale also.

And again why would it be beneficial for you to place the orders?

How come you don't post your eBay ID(s)?

    No reply yet.

F1 - NOTHING is secure or limited in its distribution on the Internet. The current NSA saga is evidence enough of that.
If you put it online in any form, assume it could be shared with the world. Whether you want it to be or not.
Not saying it's right, but it's true.

Luckily Polk has some good old-fashioned sense of duty and honor. Based on this, they trusted some folks. That some folks stepped on their own cranks and shared what wasn't supposed to be shared is a a shame, but not on Polk. That they have apparently filled some of the orders is to their credit; they weren't obligated to do so.
That they did NOT fill some of their orders is due to, IMO, their conviction to do the right thing.
For example, the non-fullfilment polklism's "order".

So, polklism, please answer some of the questions that have been addressed to you please. Correct us where we are wrong.

P.S. Cnh, that was a Ron Popeil "Vegamatic Class" slice-and-dice you did back there. :loneranger:

Dude give it up. You were in the wrong and got caught. If you can't see why your actions were shady on your own merit then you needn't be here any longer.

Because you could have sold them on ebay. Then placed an order with polk and had them shipped directly to the people who bought them. What kind of business? Audio related?

Piss off. You got caught, pure and simple. The sale wasn't for resellers. If you're trying to convince us that you aren't, it isn't going to work. Let that be your last post.

if I were to do that, would you think it makes more sense to sell LsiM, not some cheap speakers just a few hundred bucks?
Plus it was all over the web that weekend, if anyone needed to buy Polk speakers and get online. they would just buy directly from Polk. Yes, my friends knew about the promotion too. but instead of going through the hassle to create an account, they asked me to buy for them.

As a Polk fan, I am just disappointed that they accused me of doing something that I didn't, when I was just buying some cheap speakers for my buddies during the (public) promotion.
You made it sounds like it's all about money by selling on ebay and stuffs...geezzz. The economy is not that bad for any of us in here to go that route to make a few bucks, is it? especially when we all knew the promotion would end at anytime.

insult whom? compare to a full LSiM setup..what do you call a few hundred bucks speakers? did I hurt your feelings by using that term?

did I violate any rules here by creating this thread?

You made a common grammatical error that I gave up trying to correct a long time ago. The mistake is using cheap as a synonym for inexpensive. I know what you meant, but it still reads negatively.

Also, if you Google 'Polk friends and family' it is amazing how many sites were aware of this sale. There are even reseller sites linked to it.

Yes, that's what it must be. That's the only possible explanation as F1 is well known for be an overly sensitive guy.

Being a world-class sea lawyer myself, I'd have to say absolutely not !
Of course, there are those here who will say you violated the expectations one might expect from a guest in one's house. You know, stuff like manners, couth, honesty, culture, respect, intelligence, civility, integrity, truthfulness, uprightness, and credibility.

But I say "No Way !". That's just the kind of stuff them pesky Canadians would have you believe is important (and Canadian sympathizers) !
My fondest wish is that after this thread is deep-sixed that you continue with your beliefs/attitude not having been changed or altered one bit.
    N O T O N E B I T.
That'll learn somebody. That'll learn somebody real good.

Okay, I'm being an A-hole. But not about them pesky Canadians with their manners and good will and stuff !
