    Some of you are missing the point.

    For Eclypse to say he doesn't know what another amp could offer after moving from an AVR to adding an amp, whatever brand it may be, is not someone speaking from the expereince of trying different amps. While he may be content at this time how does he know he's truly content since it's his very first experience with a power amp. His position is no different than someone moving from a Ford Pinto to a Ford Fusion and then proclaiming that they don't know what another car could possibly offer without ever driving any other cars.

    Of course there's a difference. Mainly the Dragons and Jolidas are warmer and softer. They ALL provide excellent sound.

    :) I'm very glad that spending a little money on some cheap amps was enough to make me happy. I'm sure theres better as there always is something better but in the end it comes down to my ears and what pleases them. There happy and i'm very happy with them.

    Sad that the people bashing these emo most likely never gave them a chance.

    With the 30 day trial and large fan base that's happy with them and the transferable 5 year warranty that helps keep the resale up on them, there pretty safe to try for oneself.

    If I can hear the HUGE difference in high res audio over HD radio/CD/MP3s then they must be doing something right by my LSIM speakers.

    Probably would make a EMO hater cringe that I almost went back to emotiva and bought up a XDA-2 and a XSP-1 just to see how much better my music could be.. wife wouldn't let me pull the trigger. I Guess eventually i'll grab a XMC-1 receiver whenever that comes out and I can afford it.

    Like many hobbies if one has 10k to blow they will make something for you.. glad theres good amps for everyones budget.

    Not idea what one would want that the emo don't offer.. its dead silent and plenty of power when needed. Amplifies the signal as expected..

    Of course, you don't know as you've never tried any amp before.

    Not really so impressive. You can take that amp bone stock, run it paralleled (bridged) and it's a 120watt mono. The transformers are stock I believe. Mine simply take advantage of the bigger KT120s. From what I understand, if the transformers are upgraded, you can get close to 200w out of them.

    OK, you're skeptical...

    I don't have the time or the inclination to expand on the differences of the four amps I mentioned but I could live with any of them long term. That said, I believe I'll keep my Jolidas for awhile.

    OK, you're skeptical...

    I don't have the time or the inclination to expand on the differences of the four amps I mentioned but I could live with any of them long term. That said, I believe I'll keep my Jolidas for awhile.

    I talked to Michael Allen President of Jolida several times about it before I bought them to be sure it worked as I was being told elsewhere. He assured me it did, and I can assure you now, it does. He also let me order them sans output tubes with a discount so I could provide my own KT120s. He's really a great guy to work with. I ended up with 140w monoblocks for about $2100 all inclusive w/ shipping. Pretty decent deal on pretty decent equipment IMHO.
