Ahh too bad - no friends and family for Canada or the 703's might be too hard to pass up.

    Holy **** this is ridiculous.

I might buy a lot of stuff...

FYI, I went to the check out to see if shipping was included, and yes, shipping is free. There was 5% sales tax for VA though.

I'm trying hard not to pick up the 703, really just don't need any more speakers. At $750 though you're going to be hard pressed to find a speaker that does as many things well as the 703. When I start bringing used models into the picture things get a little more crowded, but at $750 retail I really can't think of a better rounded bookshelf.

I already have enough LSIM's for several rooms. I have my mind set on the ultra focus 6000s. You can't beat the sound or build quality @ $75!!

Now if someone could confirm if it's legit.

So is it OK to place order now or better wait until 12 am ET? I placed an order today 4 pm for a pair of 705s but I don't know if they are going to cancel my order because I placed it 8 hours before the promotion starts. BTW, I still got the 50% discount on the order I placed today 4 pm...

I wanted to ensure that I was actually interacting with the Polk website, while entering payment information. 50% off just seemed too good to be true.

Some of you guys that don't have space or need speakers, must have someone in your life that can use a pair of ear buds. Somebody goes walking or running. How about early christmas shopping?

    thanks again,

and... my plans for today got cancelled, so ignore my plea for help previously posted. i can verify myself.

Maybe telling her you have intentions of selling the 15s after your in home evaluation might do the trick.

Holy crap, thank you so much for this! I've been eyeing down the 703's and 704 to go with it forever, today is the day I finally purchased!

Now to toss those RTi12's and CSi5 on Craigslist....

Like you said, you could always get both and then sell the loser. You might even make money at these prices.
