Not the Audio God, though. He Loves you and he wants money.

Anyone who's ever worked through a weekend then. You people are really nitpicking my smug joke to death.

Us audiophiles are like that :-)

Just in case, on Saturday night I'll have Bruce Cockburn's Last Night of the World cued up and ready to go...

I'm sipping Flor De Cana and lime juice, it's three a.m.
Blow a fruit fly off the rim of my glass
The radio's playing Superchunk and the friends of Dean Martinez

Midnight it was bike tires whacking the pot holes
    Milling humans' shivering energy glow
Fusing the space between them with bar-throb bass and laughter

If this were the last night of the world
    What would I do?
What would I do that was different
Unless it was champagne with you?

I learned as a child not to trust in my body
I've carried that burden through my life
But there's a day when we all have to be pried loose

If this were the last night of the world
    What would I do?
What would I do that was different
Unless it was champagne with you?

I've seen the flame of hope among the hopeless
And that was truly the biggest heartbreak of all
That was the straw that broke me open

If this were the last night of the world
    What would I do?
What would I do that was different
Unless it was champagne with you?

Friday night, or maybe Saturday depending on your perspective. Saturday is D-Day. If you are still on Earth Sunday then you are in big trouble. As somebody else said, you can do whatever you want to do for the next 6 months, since anybody left on Earth after Saturday is going to hell.

Just to be clear - the Sabbath of the Old Testament is Saturday, not Sunday. Christians chose to recognize the day of Easter (a Sunday) in lieu of the Sabbath to commemorate the significance of the Easter event.

If you've ever spent any time in Israel, you'll know that the week does indeed begin on Sunday - rush hour and all!

Very true....I usually blow peoples mind when I tell them Moses was actually given over 600 commandments, not just the 10 we have all come to know. Wonder if God put all that on a hard drive for the poor old guy....thats alot of tablets.

As far as the end of the world goes, well, I've been around long enough to have heard this scenario a time or two.....or 3 or 4, time keep marching on and we are still here. I think some just want it to happen so badly for what ever reason that they make themselves wacked out over it. If it happens,it happens, not like we can run from it anyway.

I'm a little worried because it's been raining non-stop here the past 10 days and the forecast calls for another 9 days of rain.

I think the end of the world is when Brett22 calls you up to say he's in town and is coming by for dinner. Thanks man....house is a mess and we're totally unprepared for company. The wife is running around like a crazy person, worried about her hair and if the spare bedroom is ok. I was really looking forward to laying in bed and watching TV douchebag.

Anybody know what time this End of Times is going to occur on Saturday ?

I usually schedule a shower on Saturday between 2pm and 4pm.

I guess I should get up early and shower; might be able to sneak in with the decent folks then.

Are we supposed to pack food and clothing ? I didn't get the memo.

So do you suppose this rapture thingy will lower gas prices? I hope so because it's summer and it would be nice to take off and do some road-tripping. I figure most of the country will be pretty peaceful while NYC, DC, and California won't know anything happened.

Higher prices. Fewer consumers equals lower sales, so the price needs to go up to provide the same level of profits.

What's Camping going to do with the 70+ million dollars in FUNDS that his church is sitting on? You can't take that with you, you know!

I've been hearing these guys since 1975 when, I believe, it was H. Armstrong who said that that was pretty much it for us. Unfortunately, I got to finish college, go on to Graduate School and get my first teaching job many years later. And I'm still here? Now if I could only figure out how to talk poor folk out of their life savings, I'd be a Harold Camping...nah!

    I'm a Christian...and I made plans for Sunday.

The guy is a hack. He supposedly has based it on the Bible.

    He missed one little detail:

Words attributed to Jesus himself regarding his return...FROM THE BIBLE ..."You do not know the day or the hour of such events".

    See y'all on Sunday.

Tomorrow, 21 May 2011, my wife, the former Theresa Talamonti, will be enjoying her 51st birthday.

6PM go-time huh? It's reassuring to know she will have enjoyed part of the day. The part before she got sucked into a black hole at the speed of light.
