^^^ Thanks Inspector. Are you sure that you are not coming to SF? I think that the biggest issue for most out of State is the shipping dilemma. I think that the price is more than fair, because no one has complained about it:)

Price seems fair. The size and shipping is definitely an issue. Funny you mention coming out there, I purchased a HCA-3500 off eBay about the same time I was contemplating buying a car in the San Fran area when this sub popped up. Car purchase fell through, otherwise I was going to pick up the amp myself, and seriously consider grabbing your sub!

Next time ill be anywhere close is Los Angeles for a concert but we're flying.

    But hey, more bumps!

I looked into that for the Parasound, figured I'd make a mini vacation on San Fran but the additional luggage weight fee was $75, only $25 less to ship it and I don't have to go anywhere. :p

I discovered today that this unit has a 900 RMS BASH AMP, versus the 750 watts that I originally was under the impression that it had.

I could ship to Tennessee, but it would be a little costly:) I had what I thought two extremely committed buyers, but for one reason or another, they back pedaled. It takes more effort/time/BS to sell a subwoofer, than a car, LOL:)

Nope - it is a 900 Watt BASH Amp. And this is an Ultra-High-End Subwoofer, it was their number 2 sub to only the Ultra/2 that they used to produce. Although their was a cost difference of $600-800 between the two models, SVS said that the Plus/2 was 90% of the Ultra/2. If you had the Plus/2 and your friend had the Ultra/2, you would be hard-pressed to hear the differences between the two - you would need to hear them side-by-side. I believe the Ultra/2 went a little deeper. The sales pitch alone convinced me to go with with the Plus/2 model and save the extra money for something else.

If you want a high-end-movie-quality sub, someone should jump on this without hesitation. Once you hear this sub, you will never go back. I know - I love my PB 12 Plus/2. No plans on giving up that baby.

I have an Ultra-2 and a 'standard' Plus 2, both in my HT. I've never noticed a difference in output, but with two units I've never needed to push the levels. Once stuff starts falling off the shelves upstairs I get the word to back the volume off a little!

While these units are heavy, they can be shipped on a pallet via truck to save some $$$. They came from the factory in a box on a small pallet that could be fork-lifted.

But in this case, it is an ammicalbe one. She knows that she has gotten oversized throughout the years, and simply will no longer fit in the new surroundings, so she her replacement has to be smaller, more compact, and slender. I told her that there are plenty of fish in the sea, and that many enjoy her powerful full bodied figure.:)

Her replacement (SVS SB13) is due in next week on the 6th, at which time the divorce will be finalized. Mr. Powell, come on over to pick up your mistress. I am certain that she will provide you with years of pleasure, and your wife will not mind one single bit:)

I would love to take this off of your hands as I would have a mistress SVS subwoofer, but I have no room for a second SVS, and I am afraid of jealousy breaking out between two SVS Subwoofers.

Hi Sir, I will obtain this information for you. I know the raw dimensions, but need to find out the boxed dimensions and weight.
