If the crossover is still intact, they still may be salvageable with a new baffle.

There is so much wrong with that ad, I don't know where to start.

Sad thing is their previous owners were all probably DROOLING over finding a pair only to be horribly disappointed and will think the SDA-SRS was nothing but hype. These should be burned... anyone up for a collection to do just that? I will supply 25 bucks and the lighter fluid to get the party started.

Let's see, $295.00 for 12 MW6510's works out to $24.58 each. A helluva deal, if you ask me. I'd buy them, but I'm flush with 6510's.

Apparently someone is willing to buy them for $340 delivered so I was told.

I gave my offer. After all I wont have anything to cry over if he says no. It's just spare parts for me.

They should be put out of their misery. It's bad enough they cut-in two horns and those piezoelectrics, but who cuts the domes out of tweeters and then leaves them in place?

Almost looks to me that they put tweeters BEHIND the domes that were cut out. The one on the left seems to be the test dummy and they tried something different on the other.

You may be right. They're both a mess. A tragedy.

Seller blew tweeters and it seems like he was not aware of replacement from Polk or he just cheaped out.
Either way it's a Polkrime.

May also want to note that those aren't passives either...they put active woofers in the cabinets.

I wonder, if at Polkfest you could score a group signature on them?
I know Las got his crossover plates signed, how about the whole speaker?
Surely you could sell them for much more then.
But most importantly, how do they sound???? Thumping would be a good bet.
