Sorry Mystery... I posted the same thing before I read your thread.
Insane....
I thought maybe if the crossovers and drivers were not hacked up... I could convert my 2.3 into 2.3TL for $295.
So Sad.... I like the part where the original 15" drivers had no magnets (referring to the passive radiator) -
Well I guess he didn't like my offer, knew who I am or actually delivered them to a new owner for $340 (Claim made in email reply. Usually sales tactic.) Seeing the ad still up tells me they haven't moved and wont be.
The other half even approved spare parts. -

They didn't even have wires connected! -
If you could replace the
1.front baffle
2. buy new tweeters (you were going to anyway)

Well he says "u snoose u lose" (I swear he can't spell) and that they are sold. I asked why the ad hasn't been removed yet. I told him that's too bad that I was going to up my offer and the real loser was the one who bought em for musical enjoyment.

Just wait until that lucky new owner pops up here looking for advice on these wonderful speakers and is confused, thinking he has what must be a prototype or something.:cheesygrin:The Gear... So an update...
I found the new owner who bought them. He placed an ad looking for replacement crossovers and OEM binding post plates. I have begun chatting with the new owner and If he's serious about restoring them to stock, I'll offer my OEM binding post plates and offer some tips on where he can start looking and resources for restoration.
Apparently they may have been even more butchered then we all thought here by the ads... -
That's the funniest thing I have seen in awhile. Thanks for the laughs. -
Nothing you could not fix with a little time and vaneering skills.
