No problem. Any particular reason why?

Brian - I think that changes a shipment for you to DisneyJoe....Hey DJ, drop Brian a line. Also I'm looking forward to your reviews, as you probably were able to have a real good demo with the three choices. Post your thoughts, good or bad when you get time.

How far along are the other two with the ICs (amulford, and BlueMD??) that will be sent to me next.

I would *love* to do a 3 way shootout! (if at all possible)

I picked these up from Dragon1952, thanks man.

He mentioned them being of the same design theory as the Kimber Kable, Silverstreak.

1 Teflon coated Silver wire, and 2 teflon coated Copper wires. These are older DIY kits from Homegrown Audio....the current DIY kit equivalent is the SC-1.

    Homegrown Audio

    Kimber Kable Silverstreak

I'm unsure of the brand of terminations, but they feel pretty solid.

Silver interconnects are known to be a little "brighter" than copper. Some would call this "revealing", it just depends on your preference.

Anyways, if you want to demo these SIGN THE HELL UP.

    I'm in.

I have csually checked out the DH labs. Iwould like to do a shootout with Sean's Venom's. I think that's what Gidrah was refering to..

Doro, sorry for not getting back to you yet. I have a couple of pics for you, and I'll copy an email Dave sent me about the DH Lab's.

I'm also about to get my truck "tuned up", so I've been sending some attention that way and haven't kept up with this stuff. I apologize.

Anthony - No problem, send me your addy, and I'll get these out ASAP for a shootout. Can you get these back out to the rest of the crew in a timely manner? ;)

I am removing Warviper from the demo program, as I have had zero contact with him for some time. I want to get these demo's moving again.

    Dorokusai,

I just spoke with an engineer from Ethereal Home Theater and mentioned the Polk cable swap program and he would like to donate some Ethereal Elite cables.

I’ve replaced my IXOS IC cables with Ethereal cables and so far I’m impressed with improved details and open sound produced from my low cost SACD player.

It would be interesting to see (hear) how the Ethereal Elite cables compare to other brands. How would he contact you to provide the cables for testing?
    Best Regards, Cliff

    Cliff,

That sounds fantastic, thanks for doing the leg work for the forum. I'm happy that you found some nice IC's for your gear....this hobby is cool eh?

    dorokusai@comcast.net

If he wants to chat via voice, tell him that's no problem, but we'll exchange that privately.

    Mark,

Yes it is cool. I got in the hobby in 1957 with my first stereo system.

I noticed that the Ethereal engineer is now reading the forum and should be contacting you soon. If not within a few days let me know and I’ll call him.
    Best Regards, Cliff

Cliff - You know you just marked yourself with the 1957 comment ;) It's always nice to have a veteran audio nut on the crew.

Brent - Good to see you, and welcome to the forum. Just contact me directly, and we'll discuss how to move forward.

Thanks for wanting to be a part of this program, it gets alot eyes involved, and the participation by the members has been outstanding.

    Mark:
I will be in LA for the next week.
But if you will post what I need to do I will forward it to the office so that we can get some cables out there for ya'll to play with.
As the product designer I am very open (and anxious) to find out what the listeners/veiwers think about my products (I obviously am biased).
    We have:
    Analog Audio RCA (pairs) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
Analog Audio XLR (pairs, 5 packs) 2 meters
    Subwoofer (single) 3, 4, 5, 6 meters
    Analog Video RCA (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    Analog Audio/Video (3 pack) (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    "S" Video (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters (not my favorite)
    Component Video (3 pack) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    Digital Coax (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    Digital Optical (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    F/F (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    VGA/VGA (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    VGA/5 BNC (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    VGA/5 RCA (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    VGA/3 RCA (single) .5, 1, 2, 3, 4 meters
    HDMI (single) 2, 5, 10, 15 meters
    DVI (single) 2, 5, 10 meters
    3 BNC/ 3 BNC (single) 2 meters
    3 BNC/ 3 RCA (single) 2 meters
    Speaker Cables w/ Banana Plugs (single) 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 meters
    Speaker Cables w/ Banana Plugs (pairs) 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 meters
    "Y" (1 male/ 2 female)
    "Y" (1 female/ 2 male)

I am sure I missed something.
