Ok...I have conflicting stories and that makes me very leery when money is involved. The purchaser of your speakers told me on the telephone he was buying your speakers for 800 bucks with the option to buy back at a later date. This is why he was "Waiting and not donating". I am not a proponent of mixed communication. The original totals and the numbers spoke of on the tele made a good case for sending what was in PP early to meet with the amount discussed on the phone for your $910 immediate need and a little extra to do exactly what you are doing tonight for your wife. However, when I get a response like "Don't let your imagination...blah blah blah" My financial butt hole puckers tighter than nuns...If the consensus is to send what comes in the next few days then fine I will send them.

I have been given more than one story. When it comes to money and conflicting stories I am no longer interested. Any thing that does not arrive by noon this Friday I will return to the sender. Any one that has not sent them already please get with Kevin to send them directly to him.

I wish everyone the very best but in light of resent information, compounded by the fact that money (other peoples money) is involved, I feel it best to follow my principles of dealing with financials and walk when it doesn't add up. I wish you and your wife the best in the future. Good Luck.

Dude (SDA1C), thanks for taking the time to talk to me on the phone (he says sarcastically). I guess I will air it out on a public forum instead.

I offered to buy them at $850 with the option to buy them back when things turn around. Kevin declined for reasons that are not for me to say. I told him I was refinancing our 1st mortgage and I could do $500 now and the balance my next paycheck or preferably the 1st check in March. He asked what I was going to do with my current speakers and I told him I would probably need to sell them. He suggested we go look at them and maybe we could work out a trade. Done.

The last thing I wanted to do was pucker up your butt hole. Again, I think it is great what you did. I wish I would have thought of it. Now the last thing I want (besides the puckered butt hole) is for you to think you have been hood-winked, bamboozled, or shammed.

I told Him there was no need for the buy back latter on option because I will have no use for them and when I do have a use for some speakers I would be building some of my own or continuing my journey and trying something else. He offered me $500 and would pay me the rest when his sold or early March and we came up with this as it was the most practical for the both of us.
I do not want anymore donations please! send them back or shred them. and as soon as these sell or I can afford it it will gladly send your $160 back. to the rest of you that donated the $340 I sincerely thank you!

Due to some concern with the relatively low number of received checks, after the list of those that said they had already sent one, I am requesting that anyone that sent ME a check for Kevin Please shoot me a PM so I can check them off. I have 2 so far that arrived by Friday noon. I believe there were 7 or 8 folks that said they were sending one. I want to rule out any delays due to the snow on the east coast. I will be sending ONE manila to Kevin.

As a result, I am delaying sending until next Friday or until the PMs match the checks I have received, whichever comes first. Anything received after Feb 22 will be returned to sender.

Hi George,

I didn't shred anything on my own accord or at the suggestion of anyone. I have no idea where that came from and this is the first I have heard of it.

I sent back the three checks I received. Thanks for the help folks.
