Hi I'm sure this has been asked before but I'd like some specific advice.

I'm looking at getting some of the above speakers for music system paired with a Rotel RA-12.

I've read that the speakers mature with age, my concern is will I get enough bass from the A7 at moderate volume? I've listened to both in store but can't really decide!

Also If anyone knows, can I hook up a subwoofer to the Rotel amp if I get one in future?

Cheers!

Yes and yes. I prefer the RTIA7's over the 5's due to the better bottom end. Nice speakers for the money.

from what I heard the a7's lack midrange and the a5's lack bottom end. I have the a5's paired with two 8" subs. For me its perfect for music.

    A7 better for 2.0.

    A5 better for 2.1.
