THANK YOU FOR BUYING THIS!!! I was ridiculously tempted to try and offload my Carver M1.0t and my AV-705x to pick this baby up as I bet it would be the last amp my LSi setup would need lol. Thank you for saving me from doing that by purchasing it ."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Emotiva:300 watts RMS @ 4 ohm (0.1% THD) Emotiva does not list there current capabilities:frown:
Parasound: 385 watts x 5, 4 Ω ( .02% THD) 45 amps peak/channel ( Looks like I underated this amp by 10 watts in the heading)
Your SDA's will welcome the extra oomph !
EndersShadow, your LSI's would have loved it too and for $950 cash since I ate the paypal fees.
One thing that I always find is that when I get a quality higher power/current amp they always open up my speakers more especially in the mid-highs. It's like my speakers are just waiting to show what they are capable of doing . It's exciting !HT System
Parasound Halo A51 Amp, Marantz AV 8003 Pre, Arcam FMJ CD36 cd player, Marantz 7007 BD/SACD player,Acoustic Zen Matrix IC's, Analysis Plus Crystal Copper Oval IC's, Acoustic Zen Satori speaker cables, B&W 703's Fronts, Center Martin Logan Motif hybrid, Surrounds DefTech BPX, 2 X DefTech Supercube Reference Subs, DSpeaker Antimode 8033 EQ. -

Trust me, I am well aware of how nice it would have been however I think I will be set once my M1.0t comes back from being totally refurbished and added to my setup. It will drive my LSi 15's quite nicely with more than enough power, and the 705x will have more than enough power for the remaining 3 channels. I haven't even ever got ANY of the LED lights to trip on my 705x when watching a movie (which indicate they are tapped out) so I know its got reserves that aren't being used now and with the LSi 15's which are the hardest load off, I should be ok.... but that doesnt mean I wasnt trying REALLY hard to justify this to myself
That and I am trying VERY hard to stop buying soo much with a kid on the way (and I have been driving my wife nuts). I am hoping if I take a break for a bit and/or save some cash I can get a decently large upgrade item in about 6-7 months."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I understand totaly.I had carver amps, the TFM25,TFM35X and the x505( I believe) and I liked them very much. That said, I have heard about the upgrades on the M1.0t.and the improvements that it makes. Let us know when you get it back how it sounds,HT System
