I'll go ahead and recommend the 703's since you have the subs. I'm enjoying mine very much in my modest 2-channel system.

I would never spend that kind of money on speakers and a receiver. Take your time.

My lsim 707's came in yesterday. Wow, these speakers are huge(very heavy). I recommend infiniti electronics to anyone who wants to buy a pair of these speakers. I paid $2500.00(pair.)open box. When i tell you they look new, i really mean brand new. Speakers also came in original box. Im very happy with my purchase.

Send us some pictures. By the way, did they charge you for shipping and tax too? I am asking this question because I am planning to return my cm9 and get lsi15 or lsim707. What is your initial comment on your new speakers?

No tax and free shipping!!! They were asking 1350.00 per speaker. But i got them down to 1250.00 each. As for my initial comment, wow! These speakers look really nice! Im very excited, and im glad that i purchased them. But i must say they're heavy(100lbs. Each).

I read from the other users that these speakers are bright and a little fatiguing. Is that true?

Both the LSi15 and LSi25 look so nice and I want them badly, but I'm not sure if I have the ability to hear the difference between them and my Monitor 70s. The other day I was listening to the LSi25 at my local Fry's. They just happened to be playing tracks from a live DVD I knew very well. It was Kings of Leon in London. I switched my listening location several times and listened very attentively, but could not pick up on those nuances that the LSi25 were no doubt projecting with superiority when compared to my Monitors. Maybe it's genetics or lack of training. I dunno.

Auditioning in a store vs. home is comparing apples to oranges. Properly setup in your home would net better results I'm sure.

Agree with Drenis. I went from Polk Monitor 60's to LSi 15's and it was NIGHT and DAY when properly powered. My Monitor 60's have been sitting in my office disconnected since May and are probably going on the chopping block, meanwhile my LSi's are not going anywhere expect to Trey's to have the crossovers modded at some point.

I agree with both above. I have a relatively untrained ear, but when I moved from M70's in 2-channel to LSi15's it was very easy to hear the difference. Especially, with acoustic, instrumental and vocal music IMO.

By easy to hear the difference, I mean, I was on a mini-high for about 3 weeks and couldn't wait to go home and listen to tunes.

WOW, what an interesting thread. A couple of random questions: Was the e-bay seller and authorized dealer, is there a 5 year factory warranty? I am sure glad to see guys buying the new Polk stuff and talking about it and as the trickle down system works maybe in the future I'll come by some myself.

Now, I have a couple of Yamahas and in their day they were state of the art and full of features...but features fade change and become obsolete... and you're left with a nice little 150wpc amp to use in the garage.

Big new top of the line speakers like big new amps, nice clean power which will never go out of style and not end up in the garage. Re-think you $2k for the Yammy. Best wishes
