I hate to say it, but they have looked really good the two games I've seen. They are giving the Pack a run so far, seven sacks, what?!? Very nice...

Look good to me. Great young QB, good running game and a solid defense. Not to mention some of the best fans in football. Put me on the bandwagon LOL.

However, the pack needs to get their heads out of their hind ends and win this game.

The replacement refs suck. I wanted the Seahawks to win because it helps my Vikings, but I never want to see any team lose in the fashion that Green Bay did tonight. The last 5 minutes of this game were a disgrace to the sport.

That was the most unbelievable jam job I have ever seen.

Get those officials off the field. The league is becoming a joke. Play doesn't matter, just what the unqualified judges say.

And yes, I am from Wisconsin, so I am a Packer fan.

We should have played better the whole game, but man, that is tough to take.

Seattle didn't win that game, rather the refs decided the outcome here. Sadly, the great performances and individual efforts made on the field of play have been overshadowed by the horrific officiating that has taken place thus far.

The fans got a sham season last hear due to one lockout, and a joke season this year. The refs have no control of the field of play, don't know the rules, and seem to just make things up as they go. The league's call is to go after the coaches and players for saying enough is enough??? What a joke.:frown:

It's the Packers' offense to blame. I mean such a prolific passing attack actually provided nada in the 1st half and 12 for the game? They deserved to lose. It's gonna be a blood bath when these Seahawks meet the 49rs, especially in Seattle.

I was at the game. The game will be remembered for the last play. The refs were busy throwing the flag all game long. The defensive pass interference call against Sherman on 3rd and something was total BS. That gave the Packers 1st down and they went on to score instead of punting. Its not the last play of the game, so it won't be talked about as much, but that was a pretty big screw up on the refs in favor of the Packers. The 8 sacks in the first half was bananas. I've never seen that before.

You're right, Shizelbs, had the Packers last scoring drive NOT been extended by THREE 3rd down penalties - the flagging of at least one of which was HORRENDOUS! - they wouldn't have even been in it to have the chance to lose it on the Seahawks final drive. But, only because the refs' other big flub was on the last play of the game, will we be seeing it and talking about it for at least the rest of the season!

Glad to see Pete brought his knowledge from USC with him. If you can't beat 'em, break the rules (and hope worthless referees don't see it).

Las Vegas will force the issue somehow, because they have the spreads and such down to a science but the referee unpredictability throws everything they know to the wind. No calls, bad calls, good calls, all have been around and never will go away, but these guys don't know the rules while the fans and announcers and coaches do know the rules. It must be extremely embarrassing and frustrating in the league, especially if your job is in jeopardy because someone else can't be professional to league standards.
Seriously, they don't even know the rules. That would be like a cop arresting you repeatedly, but doesn't have even the basic knowledge of law.

Of course he's going to say that. Does he believe it? Hell no. :)

What I couldn't believe is that the replay didn't overturn it! We'll take the win.

Horrible call. BUT, like others said before, other terrible calls helped put GB in the lead earlier, and one could argue it should have been Seattle's win anyway because of how the Packers were helped out tremendously on their go-ahead TD drive.

One thing is certain... the league office needs to get the real officials back in there. Multiple controversies every single weekend is hurting this game even worse than Goodell already has with his dumb new rules and crappy leadership.

Even the regular refs make bad calls, thats not anything new. The bad calls goes both ways. Mind you, there's just more of them with these replacements.

I like football....no....I love football, but in the end it's just a game. No life and death decisions by bad calls.

I still can't figure it out. And the announcement made by the NFL today was a joke. Sorry.

Yes there was a lot of bad calls. People are saying because we got the one call in our fav it put us up and if it was called correctly we wouldn't have been in the lead.

Also remember the call about roughing the passer when green bay intercepted the ball? We could have scored there as well, and just the whole thing was a mess.

Yup. There were WAY too many bad calls to just focus on the one at the end. I get why... but don't assume that's the only bad call that changed the outcome of the game. There were several. The league should be embarrassed. Stop squeezing the REAL refs, owners. Your product is suffering.

Lance Easley joined the ranks of the most infamous officials in sports when he signaled touchdown on a Hail Mary pass by the Seahawks to end Monday Night Football, leading to one of the biggest officiating debacles in NFL history. And how did Easley respond to becoming one of the most notorious and in many cases despised referees of all time? By hitting up a club the very next night.

A longtime Southern California high school and junior college official. They say Easley attended the Stars and Stripes Academy for Football Officials in Salt Lake City, Utah, over the summer, and that the staff determined he wasn't ready to officiate Division I college football games. Easley reportedly has never refereed college football games higher than the Division III level.

If you were concerned that Easley might go into hiding after his notorious moment, it looks like you were wrong. Apparently the man is embracing his new found fame.
