The roughing the passer call on the Packers at the beginning of the last drive that negated an interception was as bad a call as the last one. The GB player dove for the ankles of Russell Wilson as he released the ball. Wilson was out of the pocket and was essentially a runner at that time. Absolutely ridiculous. That penalty was the Seahawks first 1st down of the second half.

While I was home for lunch today, ESPN reported that the NFL had reached a deal in principle with the refs union. It should have never taken this long.

Yup, and the PI against Kam Chancellor was a joke as well. There were SEVERAL going both ways.

I'll bet the replacement refs are relieved to be relieved at this point.

I lived up there for 41 yrs before I moved to Tucson, and they've broken my heart more times than I can count. Yesterday, I was sure those Seahawks would show up against the 49ers and tank it in the big game.

I guess I was wrong, aperently they're for real.

If this were a normal year for rookie QB's, Russell Wilson would win rookie of the year, but with Luck and RG3 ahead of him, he won't stand a chance. Assuming he doesn't fall flat on his face in the coming years, he will be looked at as a 3rd rd steal pick.

If I were a coach, I wouldn't want to play Seattle in the playoffs right now.

The rookie QB is settling in nicely and Lynch is a beast...you Seattle fans got something to look forward too

I just saw in the paper that Russell Wilson needs one more TD pass to tie Peyton Manning's record for most TD passes by a rookie QB.

I'd bet he gets at least one playing at home against St Louis next week.

    I agree.

The way they looked last night, however, I would rather not have the Pack face them.

Though we didn't look to shabby either!!!

I'm a Packer fan -- and I have to say the Seahawks look pretty good right now. And also being a Badger fan, I can say that I wish Russell Wilson had gotten to Wisconsin before he did.

Looking forward to the playoffs...always interesting.

Anyone with half a brain could see Seattle didnt beat the Packers, the refs beat them. I'm going with the more experience smart QB's. I'm riding with the Rodgers, Manning, or Brady. Seattle won early season but all three teams listed above are playing at a different level than they did in September. See you over looking the loses Seattle had to 500 and under teams. All in fun though. Should be an interesting post season.

Knew this was coming eventually..

If you remember, though, GB got some "calls" that kept their go ahead drive alive. So yeah, the last play got all the attention, but it went both ways for sure.

But, that's history. Bring on them playoffs! Come on, AZ. You can beat SF. *cough*. Uh, yeah. YOU CAN DO IT!

I think both the Seahawks and the Packers are probably better teams now than they were then. Things change as the season goes on, as exhibited by both of the last two Super Bowl winners, the Packers and Giants. Neither team looked like champs early in those seasons. They peaked at the right time, GB making the playoffs as the #6 seed, just like Pittsburgh in SB XL in '06 -- when they beat Seattle!!

It's all about keeping injuries to a minimum and peaking at the right time. The question with Seattle have they peaked in the last 3 games, or is there room for more on the road in the playoffs?

You're obviously a Green Bay fan and I am not here to argue about calls that I or the Seahawks have no control over. The Point is there is a W next to the Seahawks for that week and you can't aruge that. So whether you or anyone else likes it or not the "FACT" is we are 2 and 3 vs those teams listed.

Lets agree that both of are teams are not the same teams that played that first game. I honestly would love to meet them again in the playoffs to put this to rest once and for all. The Seahawks are getting a bad rap for something they didn't do and it's really annoying to hear all season long. If we could go the Frozen Tundra and put an end to this I would welcome it at the drop of a dime.

i think RW will be looked at more favorably for rookie of the year after he ties peyton's record, i dont think rg3 will win it with his injury, i think its gonna go to luck honestly, and if were gonna talk about super bowl XL the officiating there was far worse in every way than the green bay game, a couple of terrible calls to take the wind out of their sails and a touchdown given to pitt that in no way was a touchdown, a blindman could see that those refs were helping the squeelers,

I think everything is pretty much up for grabs. When the Niners beat the Pats at home and then lose miserably to Seattle one has to wonder what's going on. Seattle is certainly good enough. But I really don't think they are that "much" better than the 49ers. And things will be a bit tighter in the playoffs.

I like what Denver has been doing with Manning at the helm. They could be "dangerous". As for the Pats (our local team), it really depends on which N.E. team shows up and whether they decide to play the full 60 minutes or not. Still A LOT of questions in that "defense". And frankly, you can not win the BIG one without a "defense"!

Niners and Seattle, two of the top Ds in the NFL. You have to "like" their chances!

Yeah, I think SF played a "clunker". They're better than that.

Defense is pretty equal. But on offense, I definitely like Russell Wilson over Kaepernick any day of the week. And QB's are what get you where you need to go.
