actually this is a very important comment.I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.jeremymarcinko wrote: »But as in all things your perception is your reality. -

heheh, it sounds tempting to rub your nose again but i will skip this time. Here is some food for thought for you though: if interconnects are important, does it mean that receivers have an inherent advantage over separates, because preamp and amp are soldered on the same board and they have the perfect interconnect, which is no interconnect at all? Think about it for a second, Watson, it is an interesting thought.
No, Smart*ss. Most HT receivers aren't up to snuff. Rub anything you want, just don't tell us about it."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. Well I was finally treated again today to some more freebies. My Medical Director gave me 3 boxes each with a 35' spade terminated Audioquest Hyperlitz F-18's. I tried finding info on them but im coming up short. Anyone have any knowledge on these speaker wires?Living Room

Well, I'm not sure if it's "good", but probably worth trying. The worst that can happen is that you don't like the sound and go back to the BJC.
That being said, I would think that there would still be some sonic improvement due to the fact that it uses individually insulated solid core copper. I recently swapped out some normal 14 gauge stranded wire for some Audioquest Bedrock cables that use the solid core copper and noticed a positive improvement - mostly in the depth of the soundstage and the separation of instruments.
