Do your PW-2200 have the 400 watt RMS amp with 1500 watt peak or is it the older version?

Do you think one of the new ones would do in a room 20x13x7?

I'm sure the 2200 would do just fine. This is a very potent sub. Only bested by a handful of sub. And in this price range, a very good buy. I think that in Tom Nousains subwoofer list, the 2200 had a higher average spl than the servo 15. Maybe not as musical though. Careful not to set it too close to a wall. With a port that size, it really needs to breath. With your ht room being 20 ft. long, that shouldn't be a problem.

What do you think is a better sub, the Paradigm PW-2200 or the SVS PB1-ISD?

I just received an e-mail from Paradigm and he told me the surrounds on the PW-2200 are "a new formulation foam rubber that is treated to ensure long life."
