^^ Those be 1c Studios I believe - still high on the pricing by a bit I agree - and it sounds like he/she is pretty attached so you might not get a lot of negotiation - but I also don't think you see the Studio 1c that often. ^^ Nice looking Polks!VA HT HK AVR20II, Sony S9000ES CD/DVD/SACD, Polk Audio RC80i / Polk Audio CSi3, 60" Panasonic Plasma, Nordost / Signal Cable A2 / Wireworld / Pangea / Magic Power

Agreed, $600 is steep for 1C's of any kind. But, if you're in the market for a set of SDAs, it looks like those are in great shape. Even $500 would be high (IMO), but what's an extra hundred dollars compared to the enjoyment you'll probably get out of them for years? (Especially if you have never owned a pair of SDAs before). I'd consider them, but I'm listening to my 1C's right now.

Also, all the surrounds have that rusty oxidation layer.
That's not a good sign.
I had that rust on 3.1TL woofer/passive surrounds but they were stored in a barn under cold/hot weather so that may be the case here as well.

That's normal if they've never been cleaned properly. Also look at the rest of the photos. There's dust in the binding post cups LOL. What does it take to clean up a pair of speakers, make them look presentable for that price.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Peerless Monitor 5's. - They've been trying to sell them for quite a while now. If you check out the rest of the pictures they don't look fantastic, but not real terrible. $100 Mystery, are these yours?

I do kind of wish you still had those 2B's though. My next audio purchase is going to be 2B's or a Pro-Ject Carbon.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Ok.
You are little late on 2B's. Have had few pairs of them.
I'll update if I see a deal.

According to this ancient thread, Matt Polk said they were a prototype for some stores to try out but they were never sold in stores.
