Vintage Monitor and SDA Speaker Deals

Looking at pictures might not be very accurate. In this one the 15's tweeter might be slightly below the 11TL position.
That's what I deducted. If you transpose the 11TL Image over the 15TL, the 11's tweeter is above the 15's...???Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists. -
@xschop is going to make me some for an SDA tweet mod.

These guys have been trying to sell these RTA 8T for $260 for over a year and logically, they increased to price to $350 since nobody has bought it. This is how you fish for an idiot by the book.

$700
Better run away I guess tweeters look SL2000 with a turtle neck made of something.
For pristine conviction SRS 2 fair market price is $500 max. I bought mine for $375 a year ago. So the bundle with a receiver, “mixer” and sub looks more like a garage clean out.

Not SDA or Monitor, but a great deal nonetheless.
Wish I felt the need in having a spare just in case, I think $250 is a steal, and my son lives in Berthoud.
I do have a pair of new 703’s put away. 🤪

For $75 it would be fun to play around with.. -
The passive has miraculously not bubbled. Most of the foam fronted passives did so, some very badly.
-
I have a pair of 5a in closet I'd love to try it with that. Wish I was closer..

I have no idea. I’ll have to ask the owner for dimensions of the box and weight.Alon Petite / Infinity 1.2S / Coda Continuum / Counterpoint SA5000 / Oppo BDP-105D / Technics SP-15 w/SAEC WE-308SX & Ortofon AS-309 arms / Ikeda 9C2 & Dynavector XX2 Mk II carts

I found details about the speaker itself. Packaging I think will not add much to it:
* Height: 18.75 inches (47.6 cm)
* Width: 16.25 inches (41.3 cm)
* Depth: 16.5 inches (41.9 cm)
* The weight is approximately 50 pounds (22.7 kg).

That is a hefty joker right there. Looks awesome. I hope you get it @alexanikin .

FedEx says $129! I added 2 inches all around and 10 pounds for the box.Alon Petite / Infinity 1.2S / Coda Continuum / Counterpoint SA5000 / Oppo BDP-105D / Technics SP-15 w/SAEC WE-308SX & Ortofon AS-309 arms / Ikeda 9C2 & Dynavector XX2 Mk II carts

Are you sure about the height? One the pics seems to show the height as around 29 inches. That extra 10 inches adds about $50!

Yeah, you're absolutely right. I have to pass. The delivery cost way too much for the experiment to hold the speaker w/o knowing I would utilize it. I appreciate you taking the time to think about the opportunity. -
That’s some interesting Polk history right there. First I’ve heard of the LF14, that I recall. Looks like a great score for the serious Polk collector.

Thank you, I appreciate your help. I will pass cuz yesterday, I committed to another pair of speakers, and in order to get it I have to buy a full 5.1 HT...
Maybe somebody else here will be interested, cuz $86 for shipping is pretty good. -
What're the gaps above and below where the MWs meet in the middle? Looks like the front of the cabinet between has been cut out.Expect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.

7c’s too big for this you think? I’m only pushing 45 wpc with my Yamaha amp (which frankly is fine as I don’t want/need to blow the windows out).
