Someone will need to drive the blind guy over to pick them up.
Or drop them off at the deaf guy's house. -

Had two sets of those. Still got a set like brand new. Those are impressive speakers.

Looks like I should welcome @GusVT as well. Thanks for the post.
-
These have the original stands. That should almost be worth the asking price.

They never produced one, but at some point on this forum appeared an instruction for x’overs upgrade. I like the result very much.
Here is my thread https://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/198344/sda-srs2-86-blade-blade-budget-upgrade-looking-for-an-advice

‘86 SRS 2 blade-blade converted to SRS 2TL. These have never been produced by Polk Audio, but with the help of Matthew Polk some guys came up with proper changes for x’overs. -

Speaking of TL those are TL's. Always liked that little blade above the tweeters. Reminds me of back in the day we used to put louvers on everything. Including the back window of your Trans Am.
-
Good price for them. I'd love a second set but too far.
-
I'd like a set of the RTA's some day. I think They had a 15?HT/2Channel: Emotiva MMC-1, Adcom GFA-555II, Polk SDA 3.1's, Teac TN-300 TT, Polk Center and Sub.
Bedroom system: Carver CT-24, Parasound HCA-800II, Monitor 10's
Additional projects: RTA 12c's -
I'd snag them if they were closer. Fully modded, the vintage MTM's are keepers.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.

That'd be a tidbit of info to hear from the original engineer, why they only added the reflector to the top mid/tweet.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists. -
Seems like my RTA12's or some other Polk speaker has that flap thing.HT/2Channel: Emotiva MMC-1, Adcom GFA-555II, Polk SDA 3.1's, Teac TN-300 TT, Polk Center and Sub.

Best I can do it the marketing spin from back in the day.

Looking at the side-by-side pic of the 8TL vs 11TL, the tweeter is @ 6" higher. I'll come across a set locally...eventually.
And undoubtedly, the 11's cabinet would get better bracing to boot.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists. -
Even higher on the 15's.
-
Even higher on the 15's.
Judging by PR dimensions, I'd wager the 11's tweeter to be placed higher.....
Edit. Steve P gets the prize...

Looking at pictures might not be very accurate. In this one the 15's tweeter might be slightly below the 11TL position.
-
I'd like a set of the RTA's some day.
Interestingly by the way, RTA 12s have two blades: one below the tweeter on the main bracket and the second in the hat.
