i think someone posted it already..
Very typical stereophille review. No note of what he powered them or the rest of the gear he used, but quick to promote some worthless cable. These guys are the kings of audio voodoo. 'I put my dirty socks under the amp, and all of a sudden the room was filled with magic liquid mids and vibrant highs..'. They have no shame, they will promote any new product even if there was no way in theory this product could change the sound - like that 10' cable..I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.jeremymarcinko wrote: »But as in all things your perception is your reality. -
You didn't look to hard. It's on page 3 of the review.

I like the way my RtI A3s sound and they are hooked up to my Denon AVR. I will have to hook them up to my Adcom that I will be getting from rooftop59, I bet they will really sound good. I just got a Adcom Gtp-450 off audiogon to go with that 535. I cant wait till next week when it all arrives. I need to get some interconnects ordered for these, any suggestions on which ones I should be considering? I wonder if pepster makes any?Home Theater

The thread crapper arives.....again.
Rav, while the article might be light on some details, I think those guys have a tad bit more experience in audio products that you. Thats not to say I agree with every review they do, but unless you have some experience to back up an opinion, then your post becomes worthless words. Not trying to insult, just inform.HT SYSTEM-

Interesting at the end for the followups with measurements.
The RTIA3s dip down to 4-ohms and a 4-ohm receiver was recommended. The impedance drops just below 4 ohms in the lower midrange, and there is a combination of 5 ohms and a –35? phase angle at 120Hz; an amplifier or receiver rated into 4 ohms should work well with the Polk.
And they were measured to have output all the way down to 40Hz!The response rise in the upper bass is almost entirely due to the nearfield measurement technique; the RTi A3 offers useful bass output to below 40Hz, which is excellent performance for a relatively small speaker

Keep in mind the size of the room in which the Polks were reviewed....13' by 10' by 8'. -
They are a very fine affordable bookshelf speaker. As expected from polk. I find the review fine.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.
