Fronts = Polk RTi A9
Center = CSi A6
Rears = FXi A4
(2) Powered Subs

WHAT IS THE BEST SET-UP, BI-AMP. or BI-WIRE THEM?

I'M USING AN ONKYO TX-NR1008 RECEIVER W/PRE-OUTS AS MY PROCESSOR...

LOOKING TO SPEND $550.00 (USED) & $850.00 (NEW)

    A 5 channel amp for 850 is going to be hard to find, no impossible...but hard. Why not use a 2 channel amp for the 9's and let the receiver handle the rest ?

    With that, you don't need to bi-amp them or bi-wire them, just leave the metal straps on in the back of the speaker and hook up to either the top or bottom posts and away you shall go. Also, gave ya plenty of Amp manufacturers in the other thread. You can also check on Audiogon.com.

    Agreed, your going to need a lot of power for those a9's. For HT, that csi a6 is also very power hungry. You could get a 3-channel for the just the fronts and center or a just a 2-channel for the fronts. The Onkyo can handle the rears.
