Got any close up pics or better pics of the sub w/ passives? Running dual TC sounds myself just wish they were the 5400 or 5100.

Here are a couple pics of the sub. Please excuse the dust  I haven't had a chance to fully clean everything yet...

Tonight is the first time I have really put the sub through its paces and I knew I would be thrilled, but I am more thrilled that I thought I would be! Particularly with how inert the cabinet turned out to be. I would not be afraid of putting a lamp or something else on top of it. The dual passives really help cancel out the energy in the enclosure. That and it is braced to the hilt and has double thick baffles on 3 sides!!! Very happy so far. Adding the second will just help even out the room a little bit and smooth out the response.

I'm betting with 2 tc sound 18" drivers and 4 PR's that projector screen will vibrate like crazy causing a fuzzy picture.

We will see what happens when I add the second one, but I pushed it pretty hard last night and I didn't notice any ill effects yet.

Quick update. I was listening to everything last night after running Audyssey. Gotta say I am pretty darn happy! And I don't have the center or rear surrounds hooked up yet!!! I might just leave well enough alone and call it a day! I just needed the weekend to sort it out... When I want to do critical listening, I have the modded SRS 2 p/b in the living room. The 9s with the sub sound PLENTY good for listening to music during parties or what not.

Sometimes I just need to SLOW down... Once I add the second sub, center, and rear surrounds I am sure I will be grinning from ear to ear! I might not even mod them honestly... I think my money will initially be better spent on some acoustic treatments for the basement and living room. There is a sharp crack in the room if you speak at the right angle and it is piercing! A couple panels should do it... Probably 4 panels in the theater and at least 2 in the LR.
