    Cases will be done tomorrow not sure if I will have the time to put them together this weekend or not and I know I said I would start a new thread (fail) but I will get it up soon..

    I should have jumped on the extra one.. Congrats Ed I will let you know if I have an extra case soon as well..

    A small black box, indeed. Very professional looking. I know it's too late, but . . .Perhaps a badge or emblem stamped with your ID would be nice, maybe something like "Made in Hell" ?

    Well, I just want to give you all an update. I called Melanie today to see if she needed the final balance and apparently they are running behind a bit. She thinks they should be done around June 26th now. She said she would keep me posted and as soon as I hear something, you all will be the first to know.

    Thanks for the update Dave! I've taken apart my whole rig and sent my amp in for upgrades while I construct a built in cabinet and shelving so I couldn't use it right now anyway.

Just to give you all a heads up, Melanie has a list of all the shipping addresses. I need to send her the last 50% payment when she has everything ready to ship as well as the shipping cost. This was Avel's policy, not mine. I will post back as soon as I get an answer.

    Spoke to Melanie this afternoon and she apologized about the mid June shipment date. From what I was told, the units did not make the original container that she thought they would. I was also informed that the units take a month from the time they leave the assembley factory till the time they hit Port Newark here in New Jersey. The only unkown is the time it will take to pass customs. She told me that they should be ready to ship units by the middle of July. Once again, she did make me aware that they have no control over what happens with customs.

    Spoke to Melanie today and the units are being packed for shipping. I sent her the final balance along with shipping cost. She said that units are too heavy to be shipped two to a box and will be boxed seperately for shipping by USPS. Units should be out by the end of this week.

    Great timing - just put 150 hours on my new amp. Burn in is just about complete! Can't wait to get the big rig back up and running and the new AI-1 into the system.

    Arrived in fine condition. Now I guess I need to search the DIY threads to actually complete this project. I somehow thought I would have done that while waiting for it to arrive...but I guess not. This thing is huge and heavy.
