    The Blu Ray is well done but definitely short of reference. The bass is anemic and disappoints. Overall though, a very entertaining film.

    Have to agree with Darla, watched it last night and the sound effects were all about the explosions, not much else. Kinda dissappointed in it really, not the movie, the sound.

    I haven't been able to see The Avengers on BRD yet. Took advantage of the special price of $19.99 on Amazon last week. I had heard so much about how fantastic the audio was on the movie, a lot of people were giving it a 5 STAR rating in the LFE dept. After reading over at AVS , a few members have run the waterfall graphs on parts of The Avengers and have come to the conclusion the LFE is filtered and only deserves a 4 STAR rating in LFE. Yea, I can understand how some will be disappointed, but I'll give it a go. Agree with Mantis, I like movies in 1:78 also.

    I bought the 3d Pack from walmart..... It was only 24.99.... So its definitely on the cheaper end I think....

    Yeah I also thought the sound was a bit off.... I'd rather use battle: los angeles as a sound reference or transformers for sound and blu-ray reference.

    @Jaf09...

    The hulk was the same character in the movie theater. Unless you talking about the ed norton one, which was terrible.
